ABOUT ME!
A native of Richmond, VA, Sarah Ridenhour began her dance education at the age of three. She pursued her artistic passions at Shenandoah University where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in 2015. Prior to joining the Conservatory, she was a 2011 graduate of a multi-disciplinary high school dance program. In May of 2015 she joined Motion X Dance DC, under the direction of Stephanie Dorycott, and danced professionally in the Washington, D.C. Metro area. In 2017 she was the choreographer for the Macy’s Great American Marching Band featured in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Ridenhour made her theatre debut in spring of 2018 in Bring It On: The Musical, under the direction of Tony Award Winner, Tonya Pinkins. She joined RWS Entertainment in 2019, an Emmy Award-winning, New York-based live entertainment production company that creates custom shows for top resorts, cruise lines and theme parks. She performed at Kings Dominion, a Cedar Fair Amusement Park, for six years before transitioning to Associate Choreographer in 2019 and Choreographer in 2022. Ridenhour is now contracted at Kings Dominion, officially part of Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, through its current season.
